Rose’s passion for helping seniors goes back to when she was living at home caring for older relatives, particularly her grandmother. “I loved doing it,” she says. It’s why it’s easy for her to put herself in the shoes of residents, as well as their families.
“I enjoy all my roles here at Modena Cherry Creek; it especially feels good when someone shares their gratitude for what I have done. That helps me know I’ve done something good for them.” For Rose, compassion is the core value that drives her the most. “I feel deeply for all my residents,” she says, “and I like knowing I’ve made a difference.”
A native of East Africa, Uganda, Rose loves to laugh and smile, and she’s quick to share her inner happiness with everyone. When she does have spare time, she loves to cook, listen to music and sing to herself—as well as with residents.
